Van Martin has been at the helm of the reputable firm, Martin Commercial Properties, for 4 decades. He is also the founder Martin Property Development, a development firm and affiliated company to Martin Commercial Properties. He has orchestrated billions of dollars of real estate transactions and leased & sold millions of square feet of commercial property during his career. In addition to his roles at Martin and MPD, he is also the co-founder and managing partner at Riverstone Capital Partners, a private equity real estate acquisition fund.

Mr. Martin built his reputation as a leader in the industry by developing highly successful corporate services, brokerage, property management, and development teams within his organization. He has garnered national accolades as a top producer of investment sales for CBRE as member of an affiliated office. Additionally, Mr. Martin has been awarded Realtor of the Year for the Commercial Board of Realtors and inducted into the Midwest RE Hall of Fame.

Mr. Martin holds the SIOR, CCIM, and coveted CRE professional designations, demonstrating his commitment to education and professionalism. All of which has contributed to his expansive network of connections in the vast majority of states in the continental United States. Van is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his BS/BA from the Kenan-Flager School of Business.
